RUNE SAUNA is a community project
Rune Sauna wouldn't exist without our great community that has been formed over the last three years. We can't thank all the lovely people enough who supported us during this time and always believed in our idea.
No matter whether it was building the first prototype, our Rune Sauna Bus, the crowdfunding campaign to finance our first sauna or the construction and operation of our RUNE SAUNA last winter on the baltic sea.

We are Jakob, Benjamin and Lorenz. Three dudes dreaming of a "floating sauna" on the Baltic Sea. Our goal is to create a place on the Kieler Förde that allows to experience the Baltic Sea in every weather. A place with a cosy and warm atmosphere where people from Kiel and abroad meet and share stories, ideas and there visions.
True to the motto: sweat, chat, dive.

From the end of October to the end of December 2022, we built the Rune Sauna entirely on our own in Kiel. According to Jakob's technical drawing, we purchased wood and materials and built the sauna within eight weeks. A huge thank you goes out to many friends who helped, but especially to Charlie, Luise, Peer, Karl, Michi and Robert who always had an ear to listen and a free hand to help.
